<p><strong>Shelly Gillis</strong>, SPHR, has been promoted to Vice President of AFG and has assumed additional areas of responsibility. In addition to her current role leading AFG’s Human Resources function, Ms. Gillis has expanded responsibilities overseeing AFG’s Event and Conference Department and AFG Enterprise Services. Ms. Gillis is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where she received a BA in Communications and Masters of Arts degree in Labor and Employee Relations. She has also earned the Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) designation. Ms. Gillis currently serves as mentor at Oyler Elementary through the Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati “Cincinnati Reads” Program and is a former member of the Seton High School Board of Trustees.<br />

<strong>John Rogers</strong> has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of American Financial Group. He will lead the Company’s Event and Conference Services function in addition to his current role overseeing AFG Enterprise Services. Mr. Rogers began his career with AFG in 1987 in Corporate Security and has served in various roles with increasing responsibilities over the years, including management responsibility of multiple AFG functions including Security, Flight Operations, Procurement, Travel, Records Management, Asset Disposal and Fulfillment. Prior to joining American Financial, Mr. Rogers worked in local law enforcement for 15 years while owning and operating a commercial and residential real estate brokerage.</p>
