Nothing wrong with your mindset when everything you bought and collected based on financial benefits only. Such as you measured buying houses considering with how much they have potential to increase in value, not considered to how they will be a comfortable to live for you. You might choose hobbies based on how they can become a source of income, not just as pleasures to be enjoyed.

But when you bought everything just for pointing your pleasure might be things you bought wouldn’t give anything worth in future.
